We recently went hands-on with Apple’s new 9.7-inch iPad Pro. It’s an amazing iPad with a fantastic camera, but for our basic tablet needs, we won’t be using Apple Pencil or the Smart Keyboard. In this case, the iPad Air 2 will be a better upgrade for us coming from its predecessor, and much cheaper too ($419 versus the $799 starting price of the 9.7-inch iPad Pro).

Refurbished iPads from Apple come with a new exterior shell and battery, plus have a standard one-year warranty. These will sell out quickly, so don’t delay.
