In the world of iPhone accessory protection, there are cases and there are screen/body kit protectors. For me, I like the function and style of a case, which can at times be bulky, merged with the protection of a screen kit. But what if you could have both without the bulk of a case?

The Chromatic decals from Phantom Skinz bring the style of a case but without the bulk. Each decal presents a metallic color with a durable urethane top-coat. While the decal brings a lot of color and design to the iPhone 4, the decal further acts as a body kit protector.
Once applied, the Phantom Skinz Chromatics cover the back, sides, and areas above/below the display of the iPhone 4. The coverage provided ensures that scratches and scuffs do not damage your iPhone 4. However, the accessory will not prevent dents from high-level drops.
One of the unique features of the Chromatics is the decal does not require any liquid during application since the accessory is pressure sensitive. Once the film is removed from its backing paper, lightly lay the center of the film on the iPhone 4, ensuring that all logos and cutouts are centered, and then slowly apply pressure. It doesn’t get any easier.
Any air bubbles can be pressed toward the outer edge and its best to use the palm of your hand to apply the corners. The application process does take patience, as if you rush it, large air bubbles could occur or the alignment could be off.
Overall, the Chromatics bring a lot of color (maybe too much?) and great scratch protection for the iPhone 4. While the accessory will not protect against dents, it will ensure your device stays scuff-free during day-to-day use.

Orange has been MY COLOR for several years now – from clothing to rooms in my house. I even just this weekend bought a new frying pan because it was orange!! I love orange becasue it reminds me of the most incredible sunrise I’ve ever photographed – a few years ago while on Vancouver Island I got up at 5 am to go sit onthe beach to catch the sunrise – I was not disappointed!!
