Just over two weeks ago, Apple announced a contest to offer a $10,000 iTunes gift card to one lucky winner who will download the 25 Billionth App Store app. Two days back, the iOS App Store officially hit the 25 Billion downloads mark and today, Apple has revealed that the lucky winner is Chunli Fu from China. When we launched the App Store less than four years ago, we never imagined that mobile apps would become the phenomenon they have, or that developers would create such an incredible selection of apps for iOS users.”

The iOS App Store is currently available in 123 countries with over 550,000 free and paid applications spanning over 21 different categories.
