MobileMe To Receive ‘Find My Friends’ Feature In iOS 4.3?

More digging into iOS 4.3 Beta 1 has revealed a potential new upcoming MobileMe feature called “Find My Friends”. The feature is associated with the Settings.app, so it will likely have a toggle such as the Find My iPhone feature.

It is clear that such a feature would be Apple’s attempt at offering a location-based friend-finding service such as Loopt and Google Latitude. Services such as Loopt allow users to locate friends who are nearby at any given time by using the iPhone GPS signal. Such a feature built into MobileMe would be a great addition!

If MobileMe gained this Find My Friends feature, would you buy into MobileMe?

If I want to find my friends, I CALL them. Afterall, isn’t that what a phone is for?
