The team recommends backing up your device and then restoring it to iOS 7.0.6 via iTunes and not to use the other-the-air updater. Once you’ve restored to iOS 7.0.6 then you can safely jailbreak.
Evasi0n7 is an untethered jailbreak for iOS 7 through iOS 7.0.6 and will work on the iPhone 4 or newer, iPad 2 or newer, iPad mini or newer and 5th gen iPod touch.
Below is our video tutorial on how to jailbreak your iOS 7 device with evasi0n7:

There’s also another solution. For those, who don’t want to upgrade and then do the jailbreak and the tweak installs all over again, Ryan Petri has released a patch to fix the SSL bug without upgrading to 7.0.6. Go to Cydia, subscribe to his repository (rpetri dot ch/repo/) and look for SSLPatch.
