Shortly after the release of the evasi0n7 untethered jailbreak, Canadian hacker @iH8sn0w and @winocm released an untethered jailbreak called “p0sixpwn” in Cydia, for A4-powered devices such as the iPhone 4 or 4th gen iPod touch running iOS 6.1.3 to 6.1.5, which was teased earlier on YouTube:
As for A5-powered devices such as the iPhone 4S, 5th gen iPod touch and iPad 2, the iOS 6.1.3/6.1.4 untether is slated to be released tonight, @iH8sn0w tells us. Along with @winocm, both hackers have been working diligently to push out a stable A5+ tool, with a Mac version released first, with a Windows version to follow “days later”.
Lots of work done today. Judging by things, it will initially be a Mac-only release. Windows will be pushed days later.
