Alleged iPhone X Teardown in China Reveals Two Batteries Inside [VIDEO]
If the following video is indeed real, it could be our first look inside the internals of Apple’s iPhone X, revealing the phone’s battery layout.
Twitter user @AnsonChen tweeted out a video this morning which claimed to be his friends in Shenzhen, China, tearing down iPhone X, and revealing a two-battery layout:

Pictures, specifically screenshots, were shared by Weibo user @IVankrTech. Here’s an image of the complete teardown:

These images appear to confirm rumours back in February, shared by KGI Securities analyst Ming-Chi Kuo, who detailed the 2017 OLED iPhone would contain batteries in an “L” shape:

Users on Reddit note the battery is 10.35wH / 3.81V, which converts to 2716.5 mAh, a touch larger than the 2691 mAh battery found in the iPhone 8 Plus.
We should expect the teardown experts at iFixit to perform their dismantling of iPhone X, soon.
Apple said on stage in September, iPhone X battery life will last two hours longer compared to iPhone 7. A combination of the more efficient A11 Bionic chip and iOS 11.1 should bring more battery life for new users. Stay tuned as iPhone X arrives tomorrow in Canada.

CAN’T WAIT!!!
Freaky! I wonder how the software decides when to go to the other battery or maybe it uses both at the same time.
Most likely it is running the batteries in parallel to get more mAh as told by the single connector… it will not differentiate or “Choose” a battery. it runs both at the SAME TIME.
two batteries , one iphone lol
I saw what you did there… LOL
