Apple has announced it has rewritten its App Store Review Guidelines to make them “more helpful, provide more context, and incorporate the guidelines for Mac apps”:
We’ve rewritten the App Review Guidelines to be more helpful, provide more context, and incorporate the guidelines for Mac apps. We hope these updates will help your app sail through App Review. While the guidelines themselves haven’t changed, the previous App Store and Mac App Store Review Guidelines will remain available for apps currently in the review process.

Last week, Apple explained major changes were coming to the App Store, including a revised and expanded subscription model, better app discovery and new search ads, plus the possibility of free trials for apps.
