Apple’s stock priced closed at an all-time high on Wednesday, reaching $144.57 USD per share at the closing bell.
The previous all-time high for a closing price was back on January 26, 2021, when AAPL reached $143.16 USD per share at the bell. Shares of Apple were up 1.8% on Wednesday, while the stock price’s 52-week high remains at $145.09 USD. Apple’s market cap has now reached $2.41 trillion.
Back in late April, Apple announced its Q2 earnings, setting a record $89.6 billion for the quarter, up 54% year-over-year, despite the COVID-19 pandemic and a global semiconductor shortage.
“This quarter reflects both the enduring ways our products have helped our users meet this moment in their own lives, as well as the optimism consumers seem to feel about better days ahead for all of us,” said Tim Cook, Apple’s CEO, at the time.
Apple is expected to release its ‘iPhone 13’ lineup this fall and various leaks have noted what may be coming in the next few months.
