Apple is bringing back the dock for the iPhone 5! The Apple Online store is showing the ‘iPhone 5s Dock’ for the price of $35 (it’s $29 in the USA). It’s currently unavailable but it’s listed on line under the iPhone Accessories section.
Charge and sync your iPhone 5s or iPhone 5 with the iPhone 5s Dock. Your iPhone sits upright in the dock as it syncs or charges, so it’s perfect for a desk or countertop. It features a convenient audio line-out port that connects to powered speakers. It supports other iPhone 5 accessories, such as the Lightning to USB Cable (sold separately). You can even conduct speakerphone calls with your iPhone in its dock.
With the launch of the iPhone 5, users did not have the convenient dock, but it looks like it’s back–finally. Who’s getting this? It’s by far one of the best accessories you can get for your iPhone if it resides on your nightstand.

30 bucks and no included usb cable? I’ll probs get one but ouch………
problems with these docks is they never take cases into consideration
not even the bumpers
For the same price, I would go for the Twelve South HiRise over Apple’s dock. It works with a variety of cases and can be used for an iPad mini as well.
