On Friday, November 19, Apple The Grove reopened at a completely new location inside the popular Los Angeles shopping destination. The company, which ditched “store” from the names of its retail outlets back in 2016, had announced the reopening with the release of its 2021 Holiday Gift Guide last week.
Apple The Grove originally opened up in 2002 and quickly became one of Apple’s most iconic outlets. The iPhone maker decided to relocate the retail store earlier this year, with the new location being almost twice the size of the original.
The new Apple Store is located right in the heart of The Grove’s open-air plaza. The outlet was “reimagined” to be a gathering place for the Los Angeles community, where patrons can discover Apple’s products and services, get support, and participate in free Today at Apple sessions or popular Photo Walks at The Grove.
Apple CEO Tim Cook attended the opening, seen in the videos below:
The Grove outlet will demo iPhone 13 Pro features like Macro mode, Cinematic mode, and Photographic Styles to shoppers through a “festive walk” this holiday season. Customers can register for Photo Walks at apple.com/today/event/photo-walk-capture-festive-moments-iphone.
“Visitors can enter the new store from either the interior of The Grove or West Third Street, leading directly to an area dedicated entirely to Apple Pickup,” says Apple.
