Lifeline Whiteout by 3 Minute Games is Apple’s free app of the week. The game normally retails for $2.79 and is free for this week only.
The game is the fourth instalment in the Lifeline series and follows a similar path to the previous titles, in which a lost adventurer’s only hope for survival is you. Your choices throughout the story guide him along his path to survival and ultimately decide his fate.
Just to make things even more immersive your protagonist, V. Adams, sends you real-time notifications to let you know what’s going on. Just like any good narrative adventure, once you’re done, you can play the game all over again and make different decisions to lead your character down a different path.
Lifeline Whiteout is available as a free download (normally $2.79) from the App Store. The game requires any iOS device running iOS 8.0 or later and does not contain any in-app purchases.
