Apple’s Head of Public Relations Replaced After Just 8 Months

Back in May of last year, Apple hired its first VP of Worldwide Communications since 2019, Stella Low, who previously worked at Cisco.

Now, just eight months later, Low has been replaced, according to BuzzFeed News. Veteran company spokesperson Kristin Huguet Quayle has taken up Low’s position immediately. Quayle has served under Steve Jobs and Tim Cook and will report directly to the latter.

According to BuzzFeed News, Quayle will be tasked with overseeing some of Apple’s biggest rumoured products, such as an AR headset and possibly a future self-driving car.

Apple confirmed Low’s departure, saying she wanted to spend more time with her family.

“Kristin has played an instrumental role sharing Apple’s story of incredible innovation and strong values for more than 15 years. With an extraordinary depth of experience and a long track record of principled leadership, Kristin is uniquely suited for her new role overseeing worldwide communications,” said the iPhone maker.
