The evad3rs jailbreak team has released evasi0n 1.2 for download, just two days after the release of 1.1. The release notes detail the following changes:
Version 1.2
~~~~~~~~~~~
– Disable OTA updates.
– Correct timezone issue in evasi0n binary if client fails to correct it.
If you are still having issues with your evasi0n jailbreak, restore to iOS 6.1 in iTunes (don’t do this if you’re an ultrasn0w unlocker) and try it again with 1.2. Don’t forget to check out our full video tutorial on how to jailbreak your iOS device.
This morning, it was announced over 7 million iOS devices have been jailbroken by evasi0n, making it by far the most popular jailbreak to date.

Is anyone else having wifi problems since the jailbreak? It’s not automatically connecting to my home network. I need to open the wifi settings and tap the network to work on my 4S. My iPad 2 is fine.
Also my phone takes way longer to turn on. I jaikbroke with the 1st version of evasion.
Also auxo crashes a lot.., just when I double tap the home button it enters safe mode some of the time.. Not always, but too often. I’ll probably restore and re jail break to see if that takes care of all this, but it would be good to know if other people are experiencing this too.
Use the official version not pirated.
I did. I read an article/review on another website where the reviewer was complaining about it crashing as well…
My 4S got stuck in an endless boot loop after applying this jailbreak. The only way to fix this is reconnect to itunes every time you reboot your phone effectively making it a tethered jailbreak. I restored back to 6.1 and will wait till they fix this issue before trying it again.
