First Pictures and Video of Functional “iPhone 7” Hit the Web [u]

We’ve seen tons of pictures showing different parts of the alleged iPhone 7, components included, and now as we inch toward the possible release date of the highly anticipated handset, the first picture allegedly showing a powered on 4.7-inch iPhone 7 has surfaced.

The pictures, spotted by French site Nowhereelse, were shared by GeekBar on Chinese microblogging site Weibo. GeekBar has turned to be a decently reliable source for iPhone leaks.

As you can see from the images inserted below, the upcoming iPhone will have dual speakers and an all-in-one Lightning port, finally putting an end to speculations and contradictory reports. But of course, there is no way to confirm whether this is a legit iPhone, so we suggest you take this information with a grain of salt.

The iSight camera and repositioned antenna bands are in line with previous rumours. However, in case this image does show a legit iPhone — there is a slight possibility, since it appears to be running Apple’s internal testing software called SwitchBoard — it also puts an end to Home button rumours talking about a flush button. That doesn’t exclude the possibility of eliminating the physical feedback, though, when pressing the home button.
