We’ve already seen a hands-on video showcasing what appears to be Apple’s alleged larger ‘iPhone X Plus’ and another 6.1-inch model (which is presumed to be LCD), as dummy units are now widely available in China, based on leaked schematics of these new devices.
Now, some clearer images of these iPhone dummy units have surfaced online, shared by Ben Geskin.
What we see are three models, with the far left showing what appears to be another generation of the iPhone X, looking exactly the same. The middle phone, with a single lens camera on the rear, is what many expect to be the 6.1-inch LCD model, while the far right shows the largest design, in what is also expected to be a 6.5-inch OLED ‘iPhone X Plus’ model.
iOS 12 beta 5 has already seemingly confirmed a larger iPhone X is coming.
On the front, all three devices have a ‘notch’ cut out, in what we can presume would be where Face ID components would reside, like on iPhone X.
Apple is expected to announce new iPhone models again in September, alongside new iPad Pro models and a next-generation Apple Watch. The company announced its third quarter earnings yesterday, selling 41.3 million iPhones and generating $53.3 billion in revenue for the June quarter.
