ConceptsiPhone on YouTube has just released a new concept video for iOS 15 ahead of Apple’s Worldwide Developers Conference (WWDC) 2021.

Arguably the highlight of the concept video is Always-On Display for the iPhone — a feature that has been rumoured for years but never made it to Apple’s prized offering. Enthusiasts are now betting on the iPhone 13 to finally bring a feature that Android phones have had for the better part of a decade to the iPhone.

The concept video also showcases split-screen multitasking for the iPhone, a feature that has existed on Android for a long time now and even made its way to the iPad as Split View a while ago.

The concept makes a few other tweaks to the iOS lock screen as well, including the addition of Memoji notifications for texts and similar items. A re-imagined Control Center can also be spotted, with the smaller buttons for various settings replaced with larger toggle cards that display more information.

Other new features showcased in the video include a redesigned Weather app, improved privacy features and disclaimers for apps, and the ability to run multiple instances of the Calculator app to perform different calculations side-by-side.

We should find out what Apple has planned at its WWDC event keynote set for Monday, June 7, 2021. Stay tuned for full coverage here, as always.
