YouTubers Max Tech take the iPhone 13 Pro and the iPhone 13 Pro Max and stack them up against the $3500 USD Sony A7SIII with 12MP.
As we all know, the iPhone 13 Pro lineup is home to one of the best smartphone cameras of all time. How do they perform when compared to photos from a Sony A7S3, an expensive professional camera? YouTubers Max Tech perform a blind test to find out.
The video description explains:
We’ve been using Apple’s iPhone 13 and iPhone 13 Pro Max for over a week now and testing every single camera and we were so impressed that we decided to compare it to our 12MP Sony A7SIII in both photo and video modes. We took many portrait mode shots with both lenses, cinematic video, ProRes RAW video and macro shots against the Sony Pro Camera shooting raw photos and 10-bit 4:2:2 video. I edited photos from both cameras to make them look their best and we see if Vadim and Angelika can tell which photo is from the iPhone 13 Pro and which is from the Sony as they choose their best.
Overall, the iPhone 13 Pro cameras performed fantastically when compared with the Sony, with the handsets’ night mode photos looking even better than those of the $3500 USD camera. The detail that the iPhone 13 Pro cameras captured truly set it apart as one of, if not the best, smartphone cameras on the market at the moment.
