Lyft Offers Toronto Riders and Drivers Free Chance the Rapper Album

Lyft chance rapper

Lyft says riders and drivers in Toronto can download Chance the Rapper’s debut album, The Big Day, for free until Monday, July 29, at 11:59am ET.

The freebie, according to Chance, is important because “I want as many people as possible to have access to my music,” he said.

The rapper has never sold his music in the past, releasing his previous singles and mixtapes through streaming services. Chance is the first artist to win take home a Grammy (2016) without selling traditional physical albums.

“After working with Chance the Rapper to create an episode of Undercover Lyft in support of Chicago Public Schools, we were excited to continue our collaboration by partnering on his first official album with riders and drivers at the center of the experience,” says Austin Schumacher, Head of Culture and Entertainment at Lyft, in a statement.
