McDonald’s Canada Partners with SkipTheDishes to Expand Delivery Footprint

If you’re addicted to McDonald’s delivery, the fast-food chain has expanded its footprint with a new partnership with SkipTheDishes.

According to McDonald’s, their McDelivery service and SkipTheDishes will launch this month in select cities in Western Canada, followed by a nationwide rollout by the end of 2018.

“As our business started and is growing here in Canada, SkipTheDishes is thrilled to partner with McDonald’s to connect more Canadians with the food they want. We’re ready to deliver an experience Canadians across the country will love,” said Jeff Adamson, Co-Founder and VP of Restaurants at SkipTheDishes.

McDonald’s says there are currently over 500 restaurants across Canada part of their McDelivery service, and it will only continue to grow.

“We are excited to partner with SkipTheDishes as we continue to grow our McDelivery business and expand McDelivery into even more cities across the country,” says Dan Logan, Delivery Director, McDonald’s Canada, in a statement.

Customers will be able to order off the full menu, except for soft-serve cones (kind of obvious), while coupons and other mobile offers will not apply.

Last summer, McDonald’s launched delivery with partner Uber Eats, but now expansion looks to continue to ramp up with SkipTheDishes. Last fall, McDonald’s debuted mobile ordering from their iOS app, offering a variety of pick up options.
