Netflix has revealed its list of 2020 recommended TVs, which need to meet 5 of the following 7 criteria outlined by the company:
TV Instant On
Fast App Launch
Easy Netflix Access
Always Fresh
High-res Netflix Interface
Optimized for Interactive
Latest Netflix Version
“The “Netflix Recommended TV” logo represents TVs that have passed our rigorous testing to ensure great performance and easy access to Netflix. For example, Netflix Recommended TVs support the latest version of the Netflix app to ensure that members get the full experience and all the latest features,” explains Brady Gunderson, Product Management.
This year, a new criteria was added for TVs to support interactive content to make it to the list, while overall, the criteria of speed “is everything.”
