In a move that has been long-awaited by iPad users, Apple is gearing up to launch a built-in Calculator app for the iPad as a key new feature of iPadOS 18.
Latest Telegram Beta Lets Siri Announce Messages via AirPods
AirPods’ Announce Messages with Siri feature is now available on the latest beta of Telegram, allowing users to listen and reply to incoming messages completely hands-free, The 8-Bit reports.
Telegram beta-testers can find the option to enable the feature in Settings > Notifications > Announce Messages With Siri. Users can also reply to the message after Siri is done reading it out loud without having to touch their iOS devices.
It must be noted that only Apple’s AirPods, AirPods Pro, Powerbeats, Powerbeats Pro, and Beats Solo Pro support this feature. Also, only iPhones and iPads running on iOS 13.2 and later are supported.
Up until now, only Apple’s own apps like Messages and the Home app supported this feature. Apple even offered its Siri API to developers for implementing the Announce Messages with Siri feature. But no apps had implemented it so far until Telegram did recently.
While the feature isn’t available for everyone yet, we can expect it to arrive soon in an upcoming App Store update.
