Various media publications shared their initial early hands-on with the game today, while Mario creator Mario creator Shigeru Miyamoto also revealed new characters will soon debut on mobile.

President of Nintendo of America, Reggie Fils-Aimé, appeared on The Tonight Show with Jimmy Fallon last night, allowing the host to try out the game, and the upcoming Nintendo Switch game system.

At the end of the segment, Nintendo’s president revealed Apple Stores would have Super Mario Run demos available today for the public to try out. Of course this would apply in the U.S.—but what about Canada?

We called a few stores and yes, Canadian Apple Stores do have demos of Super Mario Run installed, but not all of them. The Pacific Centre store in Vancouver and Chinook Centre in Calgary said Super Mario Run is available, but the Eaton Centre and Yorkdale locations in Toronto said demos weren’t available.

Let us know if your local store has Super Mario Run installed on iPhones, and if you do check out the game, let us know what you think of it.

Super Mario Run will launch on December 15th and will cost $13.99 CAD to purchase the entire game.
