TD Canada updated their iOS app today to launch a new chatbot named TD Clari, able to answer your banking-related questions.
Introducing TD Clari – a friendly, helpful digital assistant in the palm of your hand. You can quickly get answers to many of your everyday TD banking questions 24/7, 365 days a year.
TD says Clari can “check your account balances, track your spending, and get help with the TD app.”
TD mobile banking customers can access TD Clari by scrolling to the bottom of the app’s main page and tapping ‘TD Clari’. Users will be required to agree to terms and conditions over privacy, and once that’s done, you can start asking the chatbot questions or tap from pre-populated suggested queries.
You’ll be able to ask specific questions regarding your spending such as “how much do I spend on dining out?” or also see your most recent transactions. Overall, TD Clari does the job for basic queries related to your account.
Last year, TD Bank announced it would integrate conversational artificial intelligence into their mobile banking app, using technology from Kasisto, the company created by the former founders of Apple’s Siri digital assistant. Now, it appears TD Clari is the result of this integration. Let us know what you think of TD Clari so far.
