TD Bank has announced integration of conversational artificial intelligence (AI) into their banking app, powered by Kasisto, the company created by the founders of Siri, Apple’s virtual assistant.
With Kasisto’s KAI Banking platform, the TD app will soon let authenticated users gain “real-time spending insights through an experience that is as natural as texting with a friend,” explains the bank.
Below is the type of info you can get from the AI chatbot:
- Check account information
- Review transaction histories
- Monitor spending levels
- Get answers to questions about specific spending-related questions
Rizwan Khalfan, Executive Vice President and Chief Digital and Payments Officer, TD, said in a statement, “AI has the potential to change the future of banking and we are excited about the many ways it can help our customers. Data-driven AI platforms like KAI can help ensure we are continuing to create intelligent, highly personalized and empowering experiences for all our customers.”
