Twitter Now Enables all Users to Pin up to Six DM Conversations

Twitter now allows all users to pin up to six DM conversations to the top of their inbox. This feature can be used across the board on iOS, Android, and even on a browser.

Announced via the Twitter Support page, a feature that was once exclusive to Twitter Blue subscribers is being rolled out to all users. As of now, I’ve been able to successfully pin conversations on all three platforms. On iOS and Android, users can pin a DM conversation by swiping right to reveal a pin icon. Clicking that, the thread will then be moved to a ‘Pinned conversations’ section located at the top of the invoice. On a browser, users will need to click the three dots icon and hit ‘Pin conversation.’

This can be a very useful feature for organizations and keeping high-priority conversations accessible. Six DM threads may seem limiting so perhaps Twitter can investigate opening it up to 10 or so in the future. Thankfully, it is easy to swap conversations out and pin a new one if need be.

Twitter has been rolling out new features to users, including Saftey Mode. This feature that autoblocks users sending harmful or spammy messages has arrived in Canada and is now in effect for many users.
