UberEATS, the food delivery service from Uber, is currently celebrating its first year anniversary in Toronto, with deals every day of this week.
Earlier this year, Uber noted it had no plans to expand outside the GTA, but now it appears UberEATS is ready to launch in Ottawa, as the company says on its DriveUber page the launch is “around the corner”.
The app was made available to a small group of testers yesterday, while the launch is coming publicly “a few days later”, so that means in the next day or two:
UberEATS allows customers to order meals from their favourite restaurants and have them delivered for a fee, to be picked up curbside after being dropped off by an Uber driver.
