UK Carrier Stores Expected to Receive ‘Two Apple Deliveries’ on Sept. 20 and 27

The Telegraph reports that retailers and mobile network shops expect two Apple product deliveries on September 20 and 27. Considering that Canada is usually in sync with the UK launch, these could be the dates of the next-generation iPhone launch in the country.

According to sources close to the courier industry, bookings have been make for these dates, with sales expected to begin on the Friday after the official unveiling as usual.

Considering that Apple has just sent out invites for a special event scheduled for September 10, the dates are very likely correct. The only question is: why two dates? Does this mean the first delivery will contain a smaller shipment of handsets?

On the other hand, this could easily be related to the rumoured gold iPhone 5S or the lower-cost model: this year Apple will colorize its iPhone line, adding a gold/champagne iPhone to the usual black and white models. Also, we have seen plenty of leaks of the long-rumoured budget iPhone.

With the official invitation sent to the press, we will find out what Apple has been preparing over the past few months. Note the date into your calendar, along the possible September 20 and 27 launch.
