Apple has today announced its Apple TV promo for the month of March according to which, customers purchasing an Apple TV between February 28 and March 5, 2014, will receive a $25 iTunes gift card that can be used at the iTunes Store, App Store or the Mac App Store. Apple TV purchases made from the US Apple Online Store or from an Apple Retail Store in the US qualify for the promotion (via 9to5Mac).

Apple adds that Apple TV orders from the Online Store that are placed during the promotion period and ship after the offer ends are also eligible. Also, Apple TVs returned for cash or credit refund are not eligible for this promotion and, in that event, Apple reserves the right to cancel the iTunes Gift Card issued.
It is being speculated that Apple has announced this offer ahead of a new Apple TV hardware widely rumoured for spring release. Reports have claimed that the next generation Apple TV will sport a revamped OS and possibly app and game support.
