What’s New in iOS 9.3 Beta 4 [VIDEO]

Yesterday, Apple released iOS 9.3 beta 4, along with other fourth betas for watchOS 2.2, tvOS 9.2 and OS X 10.11.4.

We should see a final public release for iOS 9.3 fairly soon, if history is to repeat itself. Last year, iOS 9.2 beta 4 was available for 20 days, then released publicly.

If we skip ahead 22 days for iOS 9.3 beta 4, that would land on Tuesday, March 15, the day of Apple’s rumoured special event to announce the iPad Air 3 and ‘iPhone 5se’, which would be the perfect timing for a public release (the golden master may probably seed the day before).

If you want to find out what’s new in iOS 9.3 beta 4, here are five changes:

  • New Night Shift Control Center toggle icon
  • “Enabling Invert Colors or Grayscale will automatically disable Night Shift”
  • Apple Music: popularity meter now shows as Starred tracks
  • 3D Touch shortcut for Health gets inverted logo for ‘Show Dashboard’
  • Apple Pencil: can no longer navigate system settings, only within apps (Update: Apple tells The Verge this feature is coming back; that was fast)
