You’ll Soon Be Able to Earn Aeroplan Points at LCBO Stores in Ontario

Air Canada’s loyalty program, Aeroplan, has expanded to Liquor Control Board of Ontario (LCBO) retail locations in Ontario.

This multi-year partnership is set to launch in late 2021 and will soon allow you to earn the following:

• Earn 1 Aeroplan point for every $4 spent at LCBO
• Earn bonus points when purchasing select LCBO products
• Redeem for LCBO gift cards at the  Aeroplan eStore starting at just 1,000 Aeroplan points for a $10 LCBO gift card.

“We’re thrilled to come together with the LCBO to offer our members a new way to earn and redeem Aeroplan points in Ontario,” said Mark Nasr, Senior Vice President, Products, Marketing and eCommerce at Air Canada, in an emailed statement to iPhone in Canada.

Back in April, the Air Canada iPhone and iPad app integrated the Aeroplan program into the latter, allowing customers to manage both flights and the loyalty program.

“Through our new loyalty program with Aeroplan, we will provide rewarding and personalized offerings to our customers that enhance their experience,” added George Soleas, President & CEO, LCBO. “It will also provide an important engagement opportunity for our valued suppliers, including Ontario producers, and make it even easier for shoppers to find the perfect choice for every occasion.”

Your points can also be redeemed for items on the Aeroplan e-Store, which includes numerous Apple products such as AirPods, Mac, iPad, iPhone, Apple Watch, accessories and more. So this means your drinking problem may now result in free Apple products.
