Shaw’s Freedom Mobile has launched pre-orders for Apple’s iPhone 12 mini today, after launching pre-orders for iPhone 12 Pro Max on Friday.
“Colorfully compact. Powerfully packed. iPhone 12 mini is now available for pre-order at Freedom,” explained the company on Twitter Monday.
Freedom says iPhone 12 mini is available on contract with up to $288 savings on My Tab. The phone is available for $0 upfront on a 24-month tab ($30/month) plus a minimum phone plan of $55 per month. You can sign up for an eSIM or physical SIM for the iPhone 12 mini.
While Apple.ca has the iPhone 12 mini priced at $979, Freedom Mobile has it priced at $1,008, a $29 markup.
As for iPhone 12 Pro Max, Freedom says you can save up to $312 on the device with a My Tab contract. You pay $0 upfront and $53/month for the 24-month My Tab, to go with a minimum phone plan of $55. Freedom lists the iPhone 12 Pro Max starting at $1,584, which is a $35 markup versus Apple.ca.
While Apple’s iPhone 12 lineup supports 5G, Freedom Mobile does not have a 5G network yet.
