More weekend Tesla news coming your way, in the form of stunning dashcam footage which recorded a Guelph Transit bus crashing into a Tesla Model S earlier this week in Ontario.

According to the Guelph Mercury Tribune:

No injuries were reported after a city bus collided with a vehicle driving through the intersection at Wellington and Wyndham streets on Monday morning. The collision was caught on dashcam video from a vehicle stopped at the light on Wellington Street East, facing south.

The footage was captured by Reddit user TLS2000, who wrote, “My wife and I witnessed this while we were on our way to Cambridge today.” The user added “There were no injuries. The Fire Department attended almost immediately. I gave a copy of the video to both the Police and the driver of the Tesla.”

Check out the footage below—the Tesla Model S driver sure is lucky to escape unscathed as the bus runs a red light and slams into the passenger side of the electric car:

Tesla’s Model S has been rated as one of the world’s safest cars out there, with top safety ratings from the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration (NHTSA).

We wouldn’t share this story if there were injuries, but the footage is pretty crazy. Stay safe out there during winter, folks.
