Android OS Running on iPhone 3G [Video]

iPhone Dev Team member Planetbeing first unveiled an incredible video back in late April–he got Android OS running on the first gen iPhone! The entire world was blown away by this pet project of his. Yesterday he posted an updated video for us to watch, which showed his iPhone 3G running Android.

In the demo he launches the Android OS and it seems to run fairly well on the iPhone 3G. The “iAndroid” phone was able to connect to WiFi and surf the web, connect to Rogers and also receive SMS messages. Well done to Planetbeing and my guess is we’ll soon see this ported over the iPhone 3GS in the future.
