The Top iPhone 3G Accessories Holiday Wishlist
The holidays are here and people are still going to be buying gifts and such, even though the economy seems to be in an endless downward spiral. Do you have an iPhone 3G or you know someone that owns one? Looking for the must have accessories come Christmas time? Well, look no further than the following TOP accessories that are a must for any new or existing iPhone 2G/3G owner!
The Top iPhone 3G Accessories Holiday Wishlist
invisibleSHIELD by ZAGG: This is a must for any new iPhone 3G owner. It adds superior protection to your iPhone 3G along with a lifetime replacement warranty and 30 day moneyback guarantee. Make sure you have some time and patience to install it though! The pros of this plastic film protection is that you avoid the “bulky” cases out there that hide your iPhone’s sexy design. Use coupon code “iphoneinca” for 20% off ANY ZAGG order!

Other similar plastic film protection with similar warranties are: PhantomSkinz (currently undergoing a holiday special) and BodyGuardz. Advantages of these two companies are that they ship with two sets instead of one. It’s up to you to decide which one is for you!

Richard Solo 1800 Backup Battery: This little beast does wonders for keeping all those iPhone 3G power users working all day long. This latest model includes a laser and LED light, plus 50% more capacity. Free shipping to Canada is a definite bonus.

OtterBox Cases: Are you the adventurous type? Well if you are, then your iPhone needs some strong protection as well. Consider getting an OtterBox for your iPhone as it’s the strongest case on the planet (watch me drive over an OtterBox with my car). I will be reviewing the 3G units in the New Year. Enter coupon code “amip08” for 10% off your order!

Altec Lansing T612 Speaker Dock: This is a very good docking solution that is “Works for iPhone” so you know it won’t brick your precious phone. If you’re looking for decent sound this will make a great addition to any room. However, make sure you save up first because it retails for $199.

Helium Digital HD-340 Boombuds: Looking for a replacement set of headphones for your iPhone? Consider the ultra popular HD-340 Boombuds from Helium Digital. These earphones sound great and still provide full controls with a mic just like the OEM iPhone headphones. Another Canadian accessories company so that’s pretty cool too.
UniqueSkins and GelaSkins: Looking to customize the exterior of your iPhone or MacBook? Look no further than custom skins from UniqueSkins or artist-designed skins from GelaSkins (based in Toronto). The coolest part about both of these skins is that they are super easy to apply, result in zero air bubbles and upon removing you won’t have any excess residue. Pure awesomeness.

Sena Slim Case: I know there are a select few out there that like to use their iPhones “naked”. By this I mean no screen protectors or cases at all to cover the iPhone. We all know that the glass screen is virtually unscratchable (Google those CNET stress tests!). For simplicity I would suggest the Sena Slim Case. These thin leather cases do not add any bulk but are more tiny pouches for your iPhone. The only downside is you need to fumble a bit to access your phone.

So there you have it ladies and gentlemen. Essentially, this would be my Holiday iPhone Accessories Wishlist. Hopefully you’ll be able to find a few special gems for your loved ones this upcoming holiday season! Good luck and happy shopping!

I guess what I need the most now is an extra battery pack. I already have a skin and a case (thanks iphoneincanada!).
IMO i dont like cases like otterbox because it changes the entire sleekness of the phone. I guess it is good if you live on a boat or something…
The Griffin WindowSeat is a great in-car holder for the iPhone. For those of you who do not believe in suction cup solutions for these holders, don’t worry, it never falls off. I bend the arm all over the place and the suction cup never lets go. It’s stuck to my windshield really solidly.
Great Recommendations. I’m liking that leather case.
ZAGG has also introduced Z.buds as an alternative to the OEM Apple earbuds. They have received great reviews and are very affordable at the introductory price of $64.99. Just FYI.

I’ve been debating whether or not to get an Otterbox defender case since they came out with white! However, $50 is pretty expensive. Is the shipping cost to Canada still $50? If the shipping dropped to $20, then I might be persuaded to get one!
I’ve been a fan of Invisibleshields ever since the iPhone 3G came out and I got a chance to install it on my iPhone. It honestly is pretty easy to install the front. However, the back is kind of a headache to do because the corners don’t want to stick for some reason!
Thanks for the wishlist iphonefan! Now, I have a few options for this Christmas for all my iPhone friends.
whatever you guys do , do not put on an invisibleShield by Zagg and then use a leather case. After a month I noticed dark areas on my phone so decided to take off my shield and found that it had actually
“soaked up” the black color from the Griffin leather case.
Very un-cool.
@TK:
So did the color from the case only get soaked into the zagg shied or did it get on the iphone too?
Thanks!
