Effective July 7, 2009, Rogers Wireless will be increasing the rate for sending text messages when you are outside of Canada from $0.60 per message to $0.75 per message.
The current rate per text messaging when you are outside of Canada (using another cellular network) is $0.60 per message (incoming/outgoing). As of July 7, 2009, that rate will now be $0.75 per message (incoming/outgoing).
If you have an international or USA text message plans, it matters not, because those text message packages only cover messages that you send from within Canada to outside of Canada destinations.
