WWDC Scheduled For June 6-10 2011

This morning, Apple announced the dates for its annual Worldwide Developers Conference (WWDC) from June 6th-10th at the Moscone West convention center in San Francisco.

If you’re thinking of attending, Conference passes are on sale for $1599, and as usual, are expected to sell out.

“At this year’s conference we are going to unveil the future of iOS and Mac OS,” said Philip Schiller, Apple’s senior vice president of Worldwide Product Marketing. “If you are an iOS or Mac OS X software developer, this is the event that you do not want to miss.”

As indicated by Schiller, the event will focus on iOS and Mac OS X, both of which have upcoming updates as iOS 5 and Mac OS X Lion.

That’s the price you pay to get expert advice from Apple. If you’re a
developer, this is priceless.
