redsn0w 0.9.8b2 Released To Fix Issues With iOS 5 Beta 3 Jailbreak
If you’re a developer using iOS 5 Beta, the iPhone Dev-Team has now released an update to the jailbreaking tool redsn0w. The jailbreaking tool was released to fix issues with running App Store apps after jailbreaking a device on iOS 5.0 Beta 3.
The redsn0w jailbreak for iOS 5 Beta is tethered which means if you reboot your iOS device, or run out of battery, you’ll have to run redsn0w again to re-jailbreak.
The following devices are supported:
- iPod touch 3G
- iPod touch 4G
- iPad 1
- iPhone 3GS
- iPhone 4
You can download the updated RedSn0w from here for Mac or for Windows and you can follow our redsn0w tutorial here, as the process is exactly the same.
