Take this one with a grain of salt. MobileFun in the UK claims to have landed images of the next iPhone 5’s case molds via sources within their Chinese supply chain.
The images below depict a larger edge to edge display (as rumoured), a larger Home button that could be capacitive, a curved back that resembles the iPhone 3G/3GS days, and controls moved to the opposite side.
With Apple maintaining an airtight seal on all of its leaks this time around, I find it difficult to believe this could leak this early on. The next iPhone is reported to launch in September, at the time when iOS 5 becomes available. The case does meet the requirements of rumours we’ve been hearing, but solid intel won’t arrive until closer to the rumoured launch date.
