Apple Releases iOS 5.1 Beta 2

Apple has posted iOS 5.1 beta 2 to developers. One new feature is as described as follows:

NEW: Photos taken using iOS 5.1 can be deleted from Photo Stream on your device and will be removed automatically from Photo Stream on your other iOS 5.1 devices. Older photos can be manually deleted from your iOS 5.1 devices.

So images deleted from Photo Stream will be applied across all devices, helping keep your photos in sync.

Check back for updates. iOS 5.1 beta 1 was released back on November 28th.

Well needed feature, I recently came through the problem where I have to delete some of the photos which I don’t want to stream and for the same you need to go to iCloud and setting of phone to stop the stream and which was deleting all the photos. Thanks Apple.

Hopefully they fix up the button glitches I and other iphone 4 users seem to be plagued with.

And of course
Probably closed more open loops holes for
Jailbreak ing. So once again to keep unlock and jailbreak I suppose to stay away

The more and more I explore iOS 5 the more I realize I don’t really need to jailbreak my iPhone anymore.  Sure SBSettings like function would be nice but it’s no longer a deal breaker compared to all the hassle you have to go through to jailbreak an iPhone these days.  Unlocking would be nice but I don’t travel to the States enough to make it a necessity.  I’d rather have iCloud and Photostream working properly with the latest version of iOS.  Installing beta 2 right now.  Will report on it’s functionality later.

I miss some apps that only work on jail broken devices. Like the iplayapp movie watch and quickmp3 music download apps.Notification Center widgets would also be nice…
