MuscleNerd Jailbreaks iOS 6.0 GM With Redsn0w Dev4 [Tethered]

Apple seeded iOS 6 Golden Master (GM) to the developers yesterday following which Dev Team’s lead man @MuscleNerd starting working on a Redsn0w update and now, he has pushed Redsn0w dev4 update that supports iOS 6.0 GM jailbreak in addition to all the previous iOS 6 betas.

@MuscleNerd confirmed iOS 6.0 GM jailbreak via Twitter earlier today:

He has also updated the official Dev Team blog with details of latest Redsnow:

“The “dev4” version covers all the betas and yesterday’s 6.0 GM seed.  There are some remaining issues with Cydia and fundamental modules like PreferenceLoader, so it remains an openssh-style developer-only release only for now!”

We must remind you that dev4 is once again a developer-only version of Redsn0w, just like the previous release, and is intended for app developers only. Also, this is a tethered jailbreak solution and it won’t install Cydia on your device. It will only install SSH, so if you know what you’re doing, you can install the .deb packages yourself.
