$269 LEGO Donkey Kong Arcade Set Officially Launching August 1
LEGO's Donkey Kong Arcade set is available to preorder now in Canada for $269 and ships August 1st, 2026.
Google recently released an impressive update to their Google Search iOS app to include better voice search capabilities. We noted the speed of the new voice search was actually faster than Siri, and now Gizmodo has put both to the test in a video to illustrate. Check it out below:
Anyone out there using Google Voice Search regularly?

A video about phones yet I can’t watch it on my phone???
Why can’t you watch it on your phone? I don’t get it
I wonder how much editing was done in this video … I know Siri is slow but Gizmodo has been Apple haters ever since Apple cut them off for the whole iPhone 4 fiasco … It wouldn’t surprise me if they assisted goggle search look better.
If you test out the Google Voice Search app, it is actually faster.
I totally agree but it’s not much more accurate on getting words correct than Siri …
Google Voice search is a lot faster than Siri, similar to how Google Maps destroys Crapple Maps.
Like I said below I know that Siri is slow and goggle search is faster, I’m talking more about voice recognition.
I disagree on the maps front, I find that the maps are smoother and more precise than google maps. I used the turn by turn to go to my friends cottage up north here in Ontario and they worked perfectly.
If people care that much about google maps they can stop complaining and get a google phone. I’m happy with my iPhone 5, iOS Maps and free turn by turn.
Dennis
*cough*cough*
You know how we know you are lying? Because you said you used it to go to your friends cottage. You have no friends you were in your basement playing dungeons and dragons.
Keep the comments clean, mmkay? thanks

Tough guy Dennis from behind a computer using an unregistered Disqus account. Sad actually.
I’ve never played dungeons and dragons and never will. Frankly I prefer to spend my spare time with my wife and son.
All of this Apple this fAndriod that pales in comparison.
*cough* *cough*. Fanboy in denial…
Apple should be embarrassed by this!
*Cough *Cough fAndriod trolling!
You should be embarrassed for this!
All while typing on my iPhone 4 and searching with google voice because Apple wanted me to pay for an iPhone 4s to get Siri which is inferior hahaha! Sorry Apple, you only get Fragility G4’s Fanboy money!
Fanboy money? … I held onto my 3GS until this year when I got my 5 … How’s google search sending your text messages …or reading an in coming one … Or playing you a song out of your library?
So if Apple was like Samsung and gave phones away for free you would obliged? Hmmm so you’re a fanboy when it’s fiscally possible … Fair enough …
Don’t feed the troll. 😉
Dennis: stop being a ‘fandroid’, it’s getting boring.
