Apple tonight has released iOS 6.1 beta 5 to developers. This release comes on the eve of the expiration of beta 4 (released last Dec. 17th) slated for tomorrow.

With the release of iOS 6.1 beta 5, the final golden master build shouldn’t be too far off. The new evad3rs jailbreak team is looking forward to the final release as a 6.1 jailbreak is around the corner.

Thanks everyone for sending this in!

Update: it appears this build acts like a GM build!

I just installed 6.1 on my iPad Mini without a Developers account but as for any improvements I have no clue as it seems to work fine for me.
