Students on the Bell network can look forward to a new promo which will offer $5 off Voice & Data Lite 60 and 75 plans, according to MobileSyrup. The five bucks off applies to new activations or upgrades and started on Saturday, August 17 and goes until September 30.
The Bell memo reads students will retain the $5 per month promo as long as they stay on the rate plan (either the 60 or 75). Do note, these two plans now have double the data at 500MB and 2GB.
Valid student IDs will be required at the time of upgrade/activation and international student IDs will be acceptable as well.
This move appears to match a similar offer from Rogers which started last week where students also got $5 off and the company’s Smart Pick 60 and 75 plans received double the data.
