Koodo Promo: Double the Data on $40-60 Canada-Wide Plans

More ‘double the data’ promos are heading your way. First it was from Fido on their Smart Plans, which was then quickly followed by Virgin Mobile on their Gold Plans and now Koodo has completed the trifecta.

Their Canada-wide data plans how show double the data on the following:

  • $40/month: 400 MB (previously 200 MB)
  • $50/month: 1 GB (previously 500 MB)
  • $60/month: 2 GB (previously 1 GB)

These actually look reasonable. Any idea how long this promo is on for? My girlfriend needs to get service at the end of October.

I don’t get this – $60 for a 2gig plan, unlimited minutes and $10 extra if you go to 3gig.
Their 3gig plan is $75, that is $15 extra for a $10 value – why would somebody just “give them” extra $5/month.. Maybe this is the kind of high-math I just don’t understand..

That’s simply because they don’t want to offer 6gb since there’s a high demand for it. The 75$ plan has sense only when there’s no double data promo.
