So if your BBM for iPhone has been crashing when tapping the contacts tab, this update should solve it. The issue is apparently related to old BBM users who had created contact categories, as this conflicted with the iPhone version, hence the crash.

I don’t even know anyone who has a blackberry anymore. This is just a nuisance to the cluttered world of messaging apps. I wish one multi platform app would reach critical mass so we could all call it a day. Whatsapp is probably closest.
If my Facebook feed is any indication. BBM could be that universal platform.
Most people are already using Whatsapp as their universal platform. People who used to use berries are installing BBM for old times sake. Most people install it just to join the hype and see what the fuss is about. Some people install it because their friends are doing it and they don’t wanna be left out.
Plus “now playing” music feature isn’t working 🙁
