Scotiabank iPhone App Update Fixes iOS 7 Login Timeout Errors

Scotiabank has just released a minor update to address an issue where iOS 7 users were experiencing login timeout errors. The financial organization notes these errors were related to “iOS7’s management of cookies”.

The original Scotiabank for iPhone app launched in December of 2009, but didn’t add actual mobile banking capabilities until almost a year later. Earlier this May the app was redesigned which added support for the iPhone 5; this July an iPad app was released alongside iTRADE for iPad.
