iPhone 6 Specs Allegedly Revealed [Rumour]

IPhone 6 tech specs

In case you haven’t had enough of iPhone 6 rumours, here’s another: Apple will indeed release two new iPhone models this year, both of them featuring bigger screens, bigger batteries, insanely high-resolution displays, and more (via BGR).

The latest “leak” comes from a South Korean brokerage company, KDB Daewoo Securities, which details the iPhone 6’s tech specs in a research note (Korean language) sent to investors and obtained by Oled-Display.net. Although the report repeats the majority of the rumours heard so far, we must note here that the brokerage company is keeping a close eye on Apple and Samsung, and has been widely cited in several reports about the two companies.

What is new, though, is that besides expecting a 4.7- or 4.8-inch and 5.5-inch-screen iPhone, the (alleged) iPhone 6 tech specs in the report mention 2 GB of RAM, a 3.2 MP front-facing camera, and a bigger, 1,800 mAh battery (the iPhone 5s sports a 3.8 V, 5.92 Wh, 1,560 mAh battery).

Also, corroborating earlier reports, the KDB Daewoo Securities note claims the iPhone 6 will feature a 1920 × 1080 (440 ppi) resolution display, and its bigger brother, the 5.5-inch model, will feature a 2272 × 1280 (510 ppi) resolution display.

It is worth mentioning here an interesting typo in the report: besides the 64-bit, A8 chip everybody is expecting with the iPhone 6, the next-generation handset will land with iOS 7.2 (emphasis mine) somewhere between Q2 and Q3 2014.

Since none of this information has been confirmed, this leak should be taken with a pinch of salt.
