TELUS SharePlus Voice Plans Officially Increase By $5/month

Telus today has officially increased the price of its SharePlus Plans by $5/month for voice plans. Below are the changes:

SharePlus voice plans:

  • $60 for smartphones (was $55)
  • $50 for smartphone lite (was $45)
  • $40 for bring your own device (was $35)

SharePlus data plans:

  • 500MB now $20 (was $15)
  • 1GB now $25 (was $30; price drop)
  • 3GB now $45 (was $50; price drop)

You may recall these $5 price increases were originally reported to take place on January 20, but the TELUS website was updated this afternoon to reflect the changes.

This round of plans from Telus is terrible… and they’re increasing the price? Sheesh…
