High Definition Apple Campus 2 Promo Video Now Viewable Online [WATCH]

Last October, Apple gave its final presentation to the City of Cupertino touting what the company’s new Apple Campus 2 would bring to the community.

At the Joint Study Session of the Cupertino City Council and the Cupertino Planning Commission, Apple’s Senior Director of Real Estate & Facilities, Dan Whisenhunt, gave his presentation of Apple Campus 2, which included a slick promo video, seen below starting at the 3:37 mark–but in low quality:

This video, which has famed architect Norman Foster speaking about the project, has been posted online on Apple’s new Environment website for viewing in high definition, instead of the grainy online version. The City of Cupertino approved Apple Campus 2 on October 16, 2013, as the City Council unanimously voted in support of the project, unsurprisingly. Construction of the new 2.8 million square foot campus is already underway and expected to be ready by mid-2016.

When your biggest taxpayer wants to build new headquarters, chances are you’ll approve. But just like everyone else, Apple had to jump through the same hoops to get approval from the City of Cupertino.
